Another Friday, another Perpetual Geek Machine podcast!
Regular listeners of the show should remember that not very long ago I (Dan) gave Adam a far amount of shit for watching Doctor Who. Well, I’ve watched 7 seasons of the show in roughly 4 weeks, so it’s safe to say my opinion has changed. I come clean here with Adam and you listeners, and make my case for why it’s an awesome show. You might also call this “eating crow.”
Hey man, I’m never above admitting when I’m wrong. I was wrong about Doctor Who and am full blown Whovian now.
Outside of that Kevin continues his tumble down the homebrew hole, and Rich and I warp through space in SpaceTeam.
Gather ’round all you Jive Turkeys, we’re gonna tell you a little story about a man that once lived in the real world but now rules the world brought to life by ink and pen, frame by frame. Bryan has checked in with more of the new Black Dynamite animated series, so be sure to check that out.
Kevin also sits down with Philadelphia film producers Tommy Avallone and Jon Dean for a wandering chat about all the things they’ve been doing for the past 15-20 years as filmmakers. They’ve got a DVD coming out next week for their film Community College and one in October for Mancation.
It’s about time we expanded The Machine, no? We’re taking our awesome quotient up a level or fifty bazillion this week by adding WarpZoned.com writer Nicole Kline‘s voice to the cast you’ll be hearing on the regular. If you’ve been paying attention you’ll notice that she contributed a review of Miskatonic School For Girls to our site last month, the girl knows her shit. We love her, we know you’re gonna love her so let’s get on with it!
