  • Perpetual Geek Machine: Show #00009

We’re rocking and rolling along now, with more than a few shows in the can I honestly feel like we’re really hitting our stride now. Having a show with separate segments makes for a better overall experience, both as a listener and as a host. It really does give us the feel of doing a radio show, especially cause what we do is essentially live to tape. Record, talk for 90 minutes and then stop. Of course there’s some technical wizardry in the background to make it sound like 3 people hundreds of miles away from each other all sound like we’re in the same room, but that’s why the quality of this podcast is better than rabble.

And with that, I present Perpetual Geek Machine: Show#00009

Here’s the breakdown on where to find/follow us online! We also want to hear your feedback, whatever it may be… suggestions for homework or topics for 5 hit-combo, etc. As always you can follow us on Twitter. You can subscribe to the lovely podcast on iTunes or Zune marketplace. And get in on our hot, uncensored RSS action.

Might I interest you in some of our refurbished show notes? If you click in the next ten minutes we’ll throw in a snuggie for FREE! (not really)

    Show Notes

    What’cha Been Doing? 2:50 – 51:09

    • Kevin – Dove back into Rock Band 2 to step up his drum game in preparation of Rock Band 3. The introduction of paper and pencil RPG’s into Kevin’s life went pretty smoothly as Dan decides to step up and start DM’ing a game
    • Dan – The talk continues about Dan’s first time behind the screen running a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, but the conversation quickly branches to Halo: Reach and the typical experience of playing online and what names you’ll be called. Transformers: War for Cybertron was defeated and that’s about all that needs to be said about that.
    • Ryan – Even more Rock Bans 2 playing but we spend much more time talking about Space Invaders: Infinity Gene and Playstaion Move, which leads directly into his Geekspew…

Geek Spew 51:10 – 56:53 (Each of us brings a geek related news bit to the table to share and discuss)

5 Hit Combo! 57:28 – End (Two of us battle for supremacy as we compare and debate our Top 5 lists. The winner plays again the next show, while the loser can only sit and judge as a new challenger appears! Play along with us, choose who you think does a better job.)

    1. [...] the full enchilada be sure to click through to Dan’s Show Notes, which are famous, in the way that the place down the street that serves yam fries is sort of [...]

    2. Love the podcast. I had to comment on the $#*! My Dad Says show. Not only is it terrible that they made this a show, but the powers that be were so dumb not to start it with “bleep” because you cant search on special characters on most DVRs so they force you to click through the guide to find it. Way to go management!

    3. Thanks for stopping by Adam!

I’ve been seeing nothing but terrible reviews for it so far and the rumors are already swirling that it’s going to be among the first canceled shows of the season. SHOCKING, I KNOW.
