    1. I don’t know about my favorite, but one browser game I keep up with is Castle Age on Facebook. It’s got the simple Mafia Wars jobs/fights, but the part that makes it fun is the team (you+friends) and world (you+anyone) monster battles, that range over DAYS with dozens of participants. Has a great community feel to it when you achieve victory, help out each other on monster battles, etc. Social gaming done right, that games like Mafia Wars are just now catching up on.

    2. Artichoke, thanks for commenting. I’ll definitely check out Castle Age. Shoot me an email so I can get you a code – kevin@perpetualgeekmachine.net

    3. If my description of Castle Age inspired you to try it, be prepared to be disappointed. :) It’s still, at it’s core, a click-to-gain-XP game with no real objective. But it’s the one I keep coming back to.

    4. The last browser game I played was Starfleet Commander on Facebook. It was okay, but like most Facebook games it degenerated into a straight XP grind without much strategy involved.

Ministry of War looks amazing though, and I hope it has the deep strategy that I crave.

    5. Hey Brent, your beta code was DM’d to you on Twitter. Thanks!
